Exuma is a district of The Bahamas, consisting of over 365 islands and cays. The largest of the islands is Great Exuma, which is 37 mi (60 km) in length and joined to another island, Little Exuma, by a small bridge. The capital and largest town in the district is George Town (population 1,437). [2] It was founded 1793 and located on Great Exuma.

The Swimming Pigs. Perhaps the most iconic experience of all is swimming with the pigs. There are several spots all to the northwest from Great Exuma. Boat tours leave from the little fishing village of Baraterre and do many stops including the piggies.

These islands stretch lazily across the Tropic of Cancer about 300 miles southeast of the coastal United States. Day 2: Stocking Island off Great Exuma. Dee picked me up around 10am and took me to Georgetown where I caught Elvis' Water Taxi to Stocking Island where Chat n' Chill is located. Chat n' Chill is probably one of the most well known places in the Exumas. It's a main hub for boaters and throws weekly pig roasts on Sundays and is a popular events venue.
